Guide: Business Name Registration for Telecom SMS

  1. Draft Authorization Letter

    • Use your official business letterhead.
    • Include your business sms sender name (e.g., WirelessPay)  should be 11 character max and company details.
    • Authorize the telecom provider to register your name.

    • Document to submit .. Your full CAC document and Operating certificate

  2. Using our template , kindly Replace Placeholders

    • Update any template with your business information (e.g., Wired and Wireless Tech Ltd. with your legal name). and the sender Id: WirelessPay

  3. Send to Provided Emails

    • Email the completed letter to all designated recipients in copy.

  4. Registration Timeline

    • The process takes about 5 weeks.
  5. Adjust Interim SMS Settings

    • Note: it takes 5 weeks to complete and during this time we recommend you stick with sms type 3 in your sms advance settings .


      WITHIN 5 -7 WEEKS  YOU WILLL GET AN APPROVAL EMAIL FROM THE PROVIDER :

      You are required to Create account , Funds and Register the approve sender ID , then copy the APIkey on your dashboard and create a ticket for WBA to integrate it on your profile>

      Do note: going forward: You are to purchase your SMS UNIT from your provider dashboard directly and not from WBA topup sms menu, as WBA will no longer charge you for sms unit as your sms route has now been configure with provider directly.
