Why is my sms alert not delivering to some numbers?
Request: some of my customers are not receiving sms alert , What can I do ?
Some phone SIM might be affected by do not disturb ( DND), some of the customer opt-in will not be able to receive bulk sms .. except you are whitelisted, that the only option to bypass DND or they opt-out manually via some prompt step's
It also important to understand that network provider DND is different from mobile phone DND,
How to opt-out,
.. understand this option is not 100% guaranty that the request will be accepted or the phone number will be removed from DND server.
Estimated time to opt-out from DND is 3 -24hour, it also recommended not to send multiple requests, you are to send and wait for 3-24hrs while you test sms and see if it gets delivered.
But you are most recommend to go for Sender ID, whitelisting to resolve all concerns without manual efforts.
How to opt-out step's
DND stands for Do-Not-Disturb. A service introduced by Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) that enables mobile subscribers to opt out of marketing/promotional messages of which bulk SMS is classified as one. Hence, mobile numbers on the DND list are not able to receive bulk SMS via the regular route.

The first step to solving this is to tell your recipients to check their DND status and deactivate it from their phone lines following the guidelines shared below

on GLO text 'CANCEL' to '2442',
on Etisalat text 'START' to '2442',
