How to Trace Reversals

Follow these steps to trace and understand reversals in the admin portal:

  1. Log in to the Admin Portal:

    • Access the system with your credentials.
  2. Go to Transaction History:

    • Navigate to NIP Payment Channel and select Transaction History to view all transactions.
  3. Understand Reversal Types:

    • Manual Reversal (Company Transfer):
      • Credited to the Business Account.
      • Business later credits the Customer’s Account.
    • Auto Reversal (Bank Transfer Reversal):
      • Both Customer and Business Accounts are credited automatically.
  4. Trace Specific Transactions:

    • Use search filters (Transaction ID, Date, or Account) to locate a reversal.
    • Confirm the credited accounts and amounts.
  5. Resolve Issues:

    • For missing credits or discrepancies, escalate to the finance team.
    • Ensure timely updates for manual reversals.

This simple guide helps ensure quick and accurate tracing of transaction reversals.
